WHY I FELL IN LOVE
Amazing first introductory chapter, really set the tone for the rest of the book, and it’s an incredible foundation for the storyline and the character arcs. The start of a full circle moment.
The characters are so well-rounded and real, relatable and vulnerable. It’s as if I’m reading about the lives of people I know. AND THE USE OF SPANISH...🤌🏼
The scenery descriptions are to die for, and I’m always feeling as if I’m right in there with them, living in the story.
WHERE THE STORY TOOK ME
SO MUCH TENSION AND EMOTIONS. THE SLOW BURN….the build-ups and the climaxes for each scene, chapter, and moment in the story are so well-written, I am amazed by Alexis.
It’s sweet, it’s light and tense at the same time, it’s beautifully heartwarming, and I’m never expecting the little twists and dramatic moments.
As a Latina, this is exactly the kind of romance and story I wish I had growing up, and I can’t wait to read Alexis’ other works. BRAVA!
